Hammer Time since 1962
Number 3 in the Avengers series is the Mighty Thor.
Was never much of a Thor fan, he was very low tech (I thought) and I was very much into sci-fi and kind of overlooked him. I liked some of the art, especially the Walt Simonson stuff, but didn’t really gravitate to the character until recently. The movie made me revisit some of what I thought I knew about Thor.
I merged the old school (Kirby) costume and cap with the Ultimates version of the character. Seems to be a pretty good mash-up for what I am doing with these. I will wrap this series with Captain America and maybe revisit some of the other Avengers in the future.
